Communicating
with Policy Makers:
Translating Scientific Evidence into Action
Communicating with Policy Makers is a two-day intensive
workshop providing a short overview of policy making and policymakers,
including a review of theories and frameworks for understanding
the policy process and environment as well as the factors that
influence policy making and the overall health policy agenda.
The course will be offered for the first time in the summer
of 2008 (specific dates to be announced shortly).
The course is offered at the Faculty
of Health Sciences within the beautiful AUB campus in Beirut,
Lebanon. Participants will have access to a number of AUB facilities,
including the sports grounds.
