Health Management and Policy Department
(HMPD)
Welcome to the Health Management and Policy Department. Within
the framework of the MPH program, the department offers a concentration
in health management focusing either on hospital management
or medical laboratory management. The department also contributes
to the general teaching of public health and preventive medicine
in the Faculties of Health Sciences and Medicine.

in Health Management
HMPD courses are designed to introduce the student to basic
principles and methodologies of organization and administration
in the field of health, including the nature of management,
decision theory, planning, health manpower training, health
economics, budgeting, evaluation, and the treatment of a health
system as a purposeful cybernetic system. |
