Research focus:

  • Extraction of medical and technical contents from the relevant scientific publications in the EMF-Portal (http://www.emf-portal.de/) and adequate presentation of this information for expert and general audiences

  • Electromagnetic interaction in the organism and with implants and technical aids (Stimulation or inhibition of muscles, nerves, brain - cancer promotion? - electrical hypersensitivity? - interference with cardiac pacemakers etc.)

  • Assessment of thresholds for interaction in humans (co-factors: age, health status etc.) depending on type of field and period of exposure

  • Diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on the basis of electromagnetic interaction

in cooperation with the faculties and departments of the RWTH Aachen as well as external organisations and experts.
