Yehudi Menuhin School

The Yehudi Menuhin School is a specialist music school in Surrey, England. It was founded in 1963 by the violinist Yehudi Menuhin.

The school educates about sixty boys and girls between the ages of eight and eighteen, who all play at least one musical instrument (stringed instrument or piano) at an exceptionally high level. Academic subjects are also studied, but the emphasis is on developing performance skills in classical music.
