Yeerongpilly is a suburb of in Brisbane, Australia. It is 8km south of the Brisbane central business district.

Yeerongpilly is an aboriginal word, roughly translated to "place of grub" ^{[reference needed]} in reference to the scarcity of witchety grubs in the area (same goes for Indooroopilly - meaning place of plentiful grub - it is located directly across the Brisbane River).

Yeerongpilly grew from an area named Boggo, which was logged for timber for Brisbane.
