Wesley was a contestant on Australian Big Brother Series 4. He entered the house on Day 1 and was evicted on Day 68. He came 8th.
After appearing on Big Brother, Wesley rose to local stardom, as Big Brother contestants often do. He appeared in radio advertisements for Brisbane stations 4 BC, B105 and Triple M. In 2005, Wes became an ambassador for Tourism Queensland. He helped to raise awareness of the state using his recognized persona.
In 2006, Wesley was nominated for the Graham Kennedy award at the Logies for Best New Talent on TV. He also received the Australian Antarctic Arts Fellowship, which provided funds for a trip to Antarctica. While there, he wrote, produced and presented 'special' Antarctica-based episodes of Totally Wild. This series was nominated for a Logie award for Most Outstanding Childrens Program.
In 2007, Wes will continue presenting and writing for Network Ten's Totally Wild, as well as being the Sports presenter for Channel Ten News in Brisbane over the Christmas Holidays.
In 2008 Wesley was used by Channel Ten as one of the hosts for the 2008 NYE telecast. He was also an Australian Day Ambassador for Queensland.
Wesley is represented by the Harry M Miller group, which manages motivational and celebrity speakers.
