Venustiano_Carranza,_D.F. - 1 reference result
Venustiano Carranza is one of the 16 delegaciones (boroughs) into which Mexico's Federal District is divided. It was formed in 1970 when the former subdivision of Mexico City was split up; the delegaciones of Miguel Hidalgo, Benito Juárez, and Cuauhtémoc also resulted from this split.

The borough was named after President Venustiano Carranza, the chief architect of the Mexican Constitution of 1917.

This part of Mexico City is home to the districts of Jardín Balbuena, Penitenciaría, and El Arenal. The Benito Juárez International Airport is also located here.
