Velo (Modern Greek: Βέλο, Vèlo. Ancient Greek/Katharevousa: Βέλον, Vèlon) is a community and a municipality in the northeastern part of the Prefecture of Corinthia. Greece National Road 8, the old Corinth-Patra highway, passes through the municipality. The distance from Corinth is about 10km west. It is located southeast of Kiato. Velo is accessible via the Kiato interchange on the Greece National Road 8A.

The community has an elementary school, a secondary school, churches, a post office, a train station (no longer operational), banks, beaches, a junior soccer team named Ellàs Vèlou and a square (plateia) with greenery. The entire area is covered with arable land containing fruit and olive groves, pastures and mixed farming while hills dominate the southern part of the municipality, also consisting of groves and forested areas. The Corinth-Patra toll booth for Greece National Road 8A is found southeast of Velo. Regarding seismology, the region's closest fault line is east of the area (Corinth Fault).
