The Utah Olympic Oval is an indoor sports arena located southwest of Salt Lake City in the township of Kearns. The Oval hosted the long track speedskating events for the 2002 Winter Olympics. The long track speedskating surface itself surrounds a full size hockey rink and a indoor soccer field. Thanks to its high altitude (1423 m) and the associated low air resistance, ten Olympic and eight world records have been set at the Oval, and after the Olympics it temporarily held the title of "fastest ice on earth". However, this honor has since been retaken by the Olympic Oval in Calgary, Alberta at an altitude of 1035 m. As of March 15, 2008 the Utah Oval holds 9 world records and the Calgary Oval 13.

Originally known as the Oquirrh Park Oval in Kearns, it was built at a cost of $30 million.

The arena has also been long-time home to the Utah Indoor Football League, and in 2008 will be home to the Utah Saints of the American Indoor Football Association. Seating capacity will be increased to 2,500 for Saints games.
