Thornwood High School is a public high school located in South Holland, Illinois. It was built as part of Thornton Township High School District 205.
History
Thornwood opened in spring 1972 to offest overcrowding at other District 205 high schools Thornton Township High School and Thornridge High School.Notable Alumni
- basketball players Eddy Curry and Justin Williams
- baseball players Mark Mulder, Cliff Floyd, and Steve Trout.
- NFL players Michael Blair, Floyd Fields, and Bill Roe
