Plot

Tom Van Allen and his wife knock on the door of an innocuous-looking house asking for directions. While they are talking to the two men inside, two gunmen enter and kill the two men. Allen's wife, although hiding at first, is discovered and then shot and killed. Tom, who survives, realizes that they had accidently stumbled into a small meth lab. Following his wife's murder, Tom drifts into addiction and enters the methamphetamine addict subculture, taking on the new identity of Danny Parker.
