Tezaab (Hindi: तेज़ाब, Urdu: تیزاب, translation: "Acid"), released on October 11, 1988, was a successful Hindi movie. This was the movie that made actress Madhuri Dixit a household name, and bolstered the career of Anil Kapoor. The film was directed by N. Chandra. Music is by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. The song ek do teen was a chart topper. The film is largely based on the 1984 film Streets of Fire.
