"
Step in the Name of Love (remix)" is the title of a number-one
R&B single by singer
R. Kelly which can be found on the 2003 album "
Chocolate Factory". The song also peaked at number nine on the pop charts. The original "
Step In The Name Of Love", which is on the 2002 EP, "
Loveland", spoke of a dance style initially created in
Chicago called "
stepping". That dance, and the music associated with it, was heavily featured on Disc 1 of his 2004 dual-disc, "
Happy People/U Saved Me". This song became the impromptu "anthem" for steppers and the dance.
