Social Evolution & History (sometimes abbreviated as SEH) is an international journal focused on the development of human societies in the past, present and future. By integrating anthropology, history, sociology, philosophy and historical theory, the journal serves as an interdisciplinary forum for scholars.

SEH is published in English twice a year, in March and September, and is printed by Uchitel Publishers. The Editors are Dmitri Bondarenko, Leonid Grinin and Andrey Korotayev.

Members of the Editorial Board and Advisory Editors Council of SEH include Randall Collins, Patricia Crone, Shmuel Eisenstadt, Michael Mann and Immanuel Wallerstein.
