Social Distortion (album)

Social Distortion is the third and self-titled album by punk group Social Distortion, which was released on March 27, 1990 as their first album on Epic Records. It furthered the country music experimentation of 1988's Prison Bound with songs like "Drug Train" and the radio hit "Ball and Chain." It is widely considered to be their best release, and it includes their most well-known songs "Story of My Life" and "Ball and Chain".

In 2006, the album was ranked as the 1st highest rated punk albums of 1990 on Sputnikmusic.
