Ronnie Brunswijk (born circa 1962) was the rebel leader of the Junglecommando (JC) in Suriname. He fought the regime of Dési Bouterse, of whom he had been a personal guard.

Ronnie Brunswijk has been sentenced in absence to 6 years of prison by the court in Haarlem for drug crimes. An international warrant was issued against him. In Suriname, Ronnie Brunswijk is a successful businessman, owner/player in a major league soccer team and politician.

In the national elections for the Surinamese parliament of May 2005, the ABOP party, led by Ronnie Brunswijk, participated in A-Combinatie, a joined list of three parties. The list won 5 seats, putting him in parliament.
