Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Cite This SourceThe Roman Catholic Diocese of Lincoln (Latin: Dioecesis Lincolnensis) is a Roman Catholic diocese in Nebraska, and comprises the majority of the eastern and central portions of the state south of the Platte River. It was founded on August 2, 1887, by Pope Leo XIII.
This is considered the most conservative diocese in the United States, run by the most conservative bishop in the country.
