Regions of Greece
Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Cite This SourceThe regions (γεωγραφικά διαμερίσματα, lit. geographic departments) are the traditional (and until 1987 official) subnational divisions of Greece, still widely used in daily discourse. There are 10 regions (seven on the mainland and three island groups), which are further subdivided into 54 prefectures.
