Reggane (رقان) is a town in the Adrar Province of central Algeria, in the Sahara Desert. It is the southernmost town of the Tuat.
In the proximity of Reggane at 26°43' northern latitude and 0°17 ' eastern length there was until 1965 a rocket launching site where numerous civilian and military ballistic rockets were launched. France conducted 4 nuclear tests in the vicinity of Reggane in 1960 and 1961, before Algerian independence. 
Berber tribes and people live in and around Reggane.
Reggane is the last town on the Tanezrouft Track heading south across the Sahara to Mali. Customs and police inspection here are mandatory before crossing the Sahara.
Amzeglouf lies approximately 40 km north of the town.
