Rögle BK is a Swedish professional ice hockey club. They are currently playing in the highest league in Sweden, Elitserien. The team has previously played four seasons in Elitserien between 1992–93 and 1995–96.

History

Rögle BK was founded in 1932 as a Swedish bandy team. The ice hockey team played in the highest Swedish league, then called Allsvenskan, between 1966 and 1968/69, and again in Elitserien between 1992/93 and 1995/96. After another twelve years in the second-tier Allsvenskan the team was promoted back to Elitserien after finishing second in Kvalserien in 2008.

The brothers Jörgen Jönsson and Kenny Jönsson started their careers in Rögle BK. After several seasons in the National Hockey League, Kenny plays for the team again since 2004 and is its current captain.
