Pessac
Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Cite This SourcePessac (Occitan: Peçac) is a commune in the département of Gironde and the Aquitaine region of France. It is the second-largest suburb of the city of Bordeaux, and is adjacent to it on the southwest. It is a member of the metropolitan Urban Community of Bordeaux. In the 1999 census, Pessac had a population of 56,143. Pessac is also home to the Université Montesquieu Bordeaux IV and the Université Michel de Montaigne Bordeaux III.
