Pepuza (also spelled Pepouza) was a town in the Phrygia region of Asia Minor (in Karahallı district, Uşak Province, Aegean Region, Turkey) which was proclaimed in the 3rd century by the Montanist Christians as the new Jerusalem and the place in which Jesus would descend to the Earth again.
