Outer Critics Circle Award

The Outer Critics Circle Awards are presented annually for theatrical achievements both on and Off-Broadway and were begun during the 1949-1950 theater season. The awards are decided upon by theater critics who review for out-of-town newspapers, national publications, and other media outlets outside of New York City. Simon Saltzman, a long-time member of the OCC executive committee and theatre reviewer, serves as president. Marjorie Gunner, the organization's president for 25 years, continues as president emerita. The Executive/Nominating committee for the 2006-07 season consists of Mario Fratti (Vice-President), Patrick Hoffman (Corresponding Secretary), Louis A. Rachow (Treasurer), Glenn Loney (Historian & Member-at-Large), Rosalind Friedman (Recording Secretary) and Aubrey Reuben and Thomas Gentile (Members-at-Large), in addition to Saltzman and Gunner.
