Orrefors, town, Kronoberg co., SE Sweden. It is noted for the manufacture of fine crystal and glassware. Simon Gate and Edward Hald, who made Orrefors famous, were outstanding engravers of glassware, and their work is represented in numerous collections. The town has a museum of glass.

Orrefors is a village (pop. 700) in Småland, Sweden, situated in Nybro Municipality, Kalmar County. The internationally acclaimed Orrefors Glassworks are situated here.
