Negroponte is the Italian name for the Greek island of Euboea, and can also refer to following derived names:

• Chalkis, the island's capital, also named Negroponte during the Middle Ages
• the medieval Lordship of Negroponte, established on the island after the Fourth Crusade
• Nicholas Negroponte (born 1943), American computer scientist
• John Negroponte (born 1939), British-born American diplomat and Deputy Secretary of State
