The National Weight Control Registry is a United States register of people (18 years or older) who have lost at least 14 kg (30 lb) of weight and kept it off for at least one year.

Members lost weight by a wide variety of methods, but most included reducing food intake and increasing exercise. After losing weight, almost all of the registry members ate breakfast and weighed themselves regularly, usually once a day.
