National Golf Links of America is a prestigious links-style golf club located in the Town of Southampton on Long Island in the U.S. state of New York. Though the course is noted for hosting the initial Walker Cup in 1922 which the US won 8 and 4, they have not hosted a men's major championship. In June 2008, the club was selected to host the 2013 Walker Cup.

The club was founded in 1908 and was laid out by Charles Blair Macdonald, who had been schooled at St. Andrews in the 1870s.

"The National" was thirteenth in Golf Digest's 100 Greatest Courses Ranking for 2007.

The course is laid out over 350 acres and plays 6,876 yards from the red tees. It is adjacent to another great US course, Shinnecock Hills.

The clubhouse was designed by Jarvis Hunt
