Myus
Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Cite This SourceMyus (sometimes Myous or Myos) was an ancient city-state and was one of twelve major settlements formed in the Ionian Confederation called the Ionian League.
Instigated by Aristagoras in Miletus, the Ionian Revolt broke out, was the beginning of the Persian Wars.
Cyaretus (sometimes called Cydrelus), a son of Codrus 1, founded Myus in Caria.
