Morbach
Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Cite This SourceMorbach is a municipality (Town population of 11051) in the district Bernkastel-Wittlich, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated in the Hunsrück mountains, approx. 25 km south-east of Wittlich and 35 km east of Trier. The area is comprised of rolling hills, superbly organized and maintained stretches of forest interspersed with manicured farmland. Some of the highest (cleanest) air readings in all of Northern Europe have been measured near this area.
Geography
Morbach is situated at a height of 430 to 770 m in the Hunsrück mountains. The nearest town is Bernkastel-Kues.Famous people from Morbach
