Merveille Lukeba (born 30 March 1990) is a British actor.
Born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, he was raised in Woolwich South East London.
Career
His first television appearance came in the long running
ITV police series
The Bill in 2007 when he was cast as Tre Douglas. His on screen debut came in 2006 in the award winning movie
Ezra where he was cast as Moses, a
Sierra Leonian child soldier swept away by war which had devastated his country. It was screened at the 2007
Sundance Film Festival and as of 2008 the film has officially been released in cinemas at various European countries including
France,
Holland,
Germany,
Sweeden,
Austria and
Switzerland.
It has been announced that he will play the role of Thomas in series 3 of the UK teen drama, Skins.
Trivia
He has appeared in numerous commercials notably for Ford Mondeo, Trident and UEFA.
Appeared, in charcter, on the front cover of The New York Sun in February 2008.
In 2008 he appeared in David Harrower's translation of The Good Soul of Szechuan at The Young Vic Theatre with Jane Horrocks as Shen Te/Shui Ta.
