Mavia (queen)
Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Cite This SourceMavia, also known as Mania or Mawia (Arabic: ماوية), was an Arab warrior-queen (active 373-380 AD), She rebelled against Roman rule, leading her troops into Phoenicia, Palestine, and Egypt. The Romans finally made a truce with her, and she agreed to it due to the influence of the teachings of a Christian hermit upon her.
