Maryland Route 12

Maryland Route 12 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Maryland. The route runs from the Virginia border south of Stockton in Worcester County, where it continues into Virginia as Secondary State Route 679, north to Main Street in the city of Salisbury in Wicomico County.

Route description

Maryland Route 12 heads north from the Virginia border on Snow Hill Road, intersecting Maryland Route 366 in Stockton. It then heads toward Snow Hill, the county seat of Worcester County. It intersects U.S. Route 113 just south of Snow Hill and U.S. Route 113 Business in the center of town before crossing the Pocomoke River out of Snow Hill.

In Indiantown, the route intersects Maryland Route 354, which runs north to Willards. It then passes by tracts of the Pocomoke State Forest before heading into Wicomico County. Just outside of Salisbury, the route features an interchange with the U.S. Route 13 Salisbury Bypass. It then heads into Salisbury where it ends at Main Street, just to the east of U.S. Route 13 Business, in downtown Salisbury.
