Makedonia (Macedonia, Greek: Μακεδονία) is a Greek daily newspaper published in Thessaloniki, Greece's second largest city. Being one of the oldest newspapers in Greece, it was first published in 1911 by Ioannis Vellidis. Since then, it remains the most famous and best selling political newspaper in northern Greece. The present owner is the company Makedoniki Ektipotiki AE. The director of the newspaper is the ERT3 journalist Pantelis Savvidis. Makedonia newspaper redesigned many times through all this years. Although the latest successful redesign happened by Mr Dimitris Papazoglou, one of the most talented Creative Art Directors in Greece. Among others Dimitris Papazoglou is responsible for the redesign of the greek leading journalist magazine "E" epsilon of "Sunday Eleyherotypia" newspaper.
