Madouri (Greek: Μαδουρή) is a small island in the Ionian Sea.
About the island
Nydri is across to the west in the island of Lefkada along with nearby islands and the Greek mainland which it features the Etoloakarnania prefecture. It is municipally a part of the municipality of Ellomeno as well as the municipal district (former community) of Neochori. The island was inhabited by the Valaoritis family and its leader. It was the place where Aristotle Valaoritis, a poet grew up, today the island is inhabited by Nanos Valaoritis. In geography, the island is heavily forested.
