MAE-East

MAE-East is an Internet Exchange Point spread across the east coast of the United States, with locations in Vienna, Virginia; Reston, Virginia; Ashburn, Virginia; New York, New York; and Miami, Florida. It is the eastern branch of the MCI Internet Exchange.

MAE-East provides many connection options to members. Frame relay encapsulation is offered at OC-3, OC-12, and OC-48 speeds using Packet over SONET. Gigabit ethernet connections are offered on 1000SX or 1000LX optics. Finally, ATM connections at DS-3, OC-3, and OC-12 speeds are offered.
