Lyskovo (Лысково) is a town in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia, located on the southern side of the Volga River (since the 1980s, forming the Cheboksary Reservoir), opposite the mouth of the Kerzhenets River, 90 km south-east of Nizhny Novgorod.
Lyskovo is the administrative center of Lyskovsky District. Population: 23,901 (2002 Census); 25,029 (1989 Census).
The settlement of Lyskovo was first mentioned in 1410. It received town status in 1925.
The city is served by Highway M7 (Nizhny Novgorod - Kazan). There are no railways in Lyskovo or anywhere in the district. Ferry service connects the city with Makaryevo and its famous monastery.
