Lucius Caecilius Metellus

Lucius Caecilius Metellus (b. c. 130 BC) was a son of Lucius Caecilius Metellus Dalmaticus. He was a Praetor in 71 BC, a Consul in 68 BC, and succeeded Gaius Verres at the government of Sicily, by him expoliated, there reestablishing law and order.
