Le Zénith

Le Zénith is the common name for more than a dozen similar, purpose-built concert venues in France. There are 15 such venues located in Caen, Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, Lille, Limoges, Montpellier, Nancy, Nantes, Orléans,Paris, Pau, Rouen,Toulon, Strasbourg and Toulouse. The first Zénith was built in Paris in 1983 to replace the Pavillon de Paris, which had been converted into a performance space after serving decades as a slaughter-house.

Anywhere but Home, the live CD and DVD kit by Evanescence as well as the Hullabaloo Soundtrack CD2 and DVD by English band Muse were recorded at Le Zénith in Paris. In March 2005 Italian singer Laura Pausini held two concerts which would later appear on her live CD/DVD Live in Paris 05

World Wrestling Entertainment held a house show at Le Zénith in Paris in April 2007, where the Women's Championship changed hands twice, as Melina lost the title to Mickie James, and later won the title back.
