Lutheran High School (La Verne, California)

Lutheran High School La Verne (also known as Faith Lutheran), is a small Lutheran High School in La Verne, California. It was founded in 1973 and the first two years only accepted Freshmen and Sophomores. The Current principal is Lance Ebel. As of the 2006-2007 school year it has just under 200 students. It is known for its NJROTC program which used to be a requirement for students. It is part of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. The School colors are Red, White and Blue and the mascot is the Trojans.


The school made local news in 2003 when the soccerteam got into a brawl with the opposing team. It was the second round CIF playoff game and the other team was winning already. However, with about 5 minutes left in the game a player from the other team attacked a player on Lutheran High's team and. The player who started it was put in jail.
