Komló is a town in Baranya county, Hungary.
The former village of Komló became a planned mining city during the socialist era. It was the second biggest mining centre in Hungary after Tatabánya. After closing the coal-mines in the 1990s, the town faced a massive recession and still has a great proportion of unemployment.
