King Edward VII School (KE7) is a comprehensive secondary school in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire in the United Kingdom. Formerly, the school was a public grammar school. The school is a specialist ICT and technology college with Microsoft associations and is also a training college.
The school was one of the first in the country to offer DIDA as a course, being one of the pilot schools for the qualification
King Edward VII School is located on Burton Road within the town. Because the campus was originally two separate schools (the grammar school & Sarson high school) there are two main entrances to the school. The top entrance (further up the Burton Road) is also the main entrance for the Melton Rugby Club and King Edward VII Sports centre which are also on site.
Locations on the campus include the sarson secondary school for 11 - 14 year olds, an upper school for GCSE
students aged between 14 and 16, and a sixth-form college for 16+ students. Also situated nearby is a 4-11 year-old primary school and a school for special needs students. The school also boasts an all weather astroturf pitch and a sports centre, which includes tennis courts. The whole campus currently faces regeneration due to a change in the areas education scheme.
