Khandelwal is the name of three separate communities
- Khandelwal Jain, a major Jain community, also known as Sarawagi (derived from Shravaka).
- Khandelwal Brahmin, a Brahmin community
- Khandelwal Vaishya, a Vaishnav vaish trading community
all originating from the historical Khandela town in northern Rajasthan. Maheshwaris and Bijavargi (or Vijayvargiya) communities also trace their origin to Khandela.
