M. Keith Neville (
February 25,
1884 December 4,
1959) was a
Nebraska Democratic politician best known for being the 21st
governor of
Nebraska.
Biography
Keith Neville was born in
North Platte, Nebraska, and early on in life was a banker, rancher, and real estate seller. He was a member of the
Freemasons, the
elks, the
Moose, the
Odd fellows, and
Phi Sigma Kappa, as well as a member of the
Episcopal Church.
As well as being elected as the governor of Nebraska from 1917 to 1919, he was a delegate to Democratic National Convention from Nebraska in 1932 and a failed candidate for Nebraska U.S. Senator in 1954.
