K'an Joy Chitam I
K'an Joy Chitam I (May 4, 490-February 8, 565) was a ruler of the Maya city-state of Palenque. He took the throne on February 25, 529 at age 34, ending an interregnum that had lasted for a little over four years.
K'an Joy Chitam I ruled until his death in 565 at age 74.
