John Wakering (or John Wakeryng) was a medieval Bishop of Norwich.

He was named Lord Privy Seal in June of 1415 and dismissed from that office in July of 1416.

He was elected about November 24 1415 and was consecrated on May 31 1416. He died on April 9 1425.
