Japanese destroyer Maikaze

Maikaze was a of the Imperial Japanese Navy.

On 17 February 1944, during the Allied attack on Truk, Maikaze, the cruiser , and the auxiliary cruiser Akagi Maru were sunk by gunfire from the cruisers and 40 miles (75 km) northwest of Truk (). The ship went down with loss of all hands.
