Inquisit is a Castle in the fictional land of Abarat. It is on the Island of Midnight, known as Gorgossium, and is one of the key locations in the Abarat Series by Clive Barker.
It is the home of Christopher Carrion, known as the Lord of Midnight
Other notable residents are Mater Motley, Carrion's Grandmother, who destroyed all but one of Inquisit's thirteen towers after the supposed death of her grandson in Abarat: Days of Magic, Nights of War.
