Heptapolis
Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Cite This SourceHeptapolis (Greek: Ἑπταπολίς, meaning "Seven cities") was the name of the capitals of the Heptanomis in ancient Egypt, and included the cities of Memphis, Heracleopolis, Crocodilopolis (later, Arsinoe), Aphroditopolis, Oxyrhynchos, Cynopolis, and Hermopolis.
