HMS Tracker (P274) is an Archer-class (P2000) patrol and training vessel of the British Royal Navy, used for training purposes by the Oxford University Royal Naval Unit (URNU). Part of the 1st Patrol Boat Squadron (1PBS), the vessel is based at HMNB Portsmouth, and is used to familiarise potential officers in the workings of the Royal Navy. She is the third ship to bear the name HMS Tracker. HMS Tracker is one of two Batch 2 P2000s and is capable of a speed in excess of 20 knots. She recently came out of refit.

Oxford University Royal Naval Unit

Oxford University Royal Naval Unit was founded in 1994 to educate high calibre undergraduates as to the role and function of the Royal Navy. It recruits students primarily from Oxford University, Oxford Brookes University and Reading University. Based at Falklands House in Oxford, Oxford URNU offers training in navigation and seamanship to around 51 undergraduates through a programme of classroom-based instruction at weekly 'drill nights' and sea time aboard HMS Tracker. Students hold the rank of Honorary Midshipman in the Royal Naval Reserve and are paid for their time at standard Navy rates.
