Greg LaRocque is an American
comic book illustrator. His career began in the mid-1980s, with the
Marvel Comics series
Marvel Team-Up starring Spider-Man, and then
Web of Spider-Man. Other series work included
The Avengers and
Power Man and Iron Fist, after moving to
DC Comics he became known for his work with
Karen Berger, illustrating the
Paul Levitz-penned,
Baxter format issues of
Legion of Super-Heroes. DC's experiment in quality printing formats highlighting LaRocque's action style predated the 'Image Comics' look by many years.
He became prominent in the 1990s for his work on the Mark Waid-written issues of The Flash. A career highlight was redesigning the Flash costume to its current incarnation. He currently writes and draws his creator-owned series for Exiled Studio's "CryBaby"
LaRocque has three children, a daughter, Charisse, and two sons, Justin and Ben. He also has a wife named Rosario.
